I watched a video where someone mentioned doing these for a better back

ive always done deadlifts and rack deads, more recently rack deads since 2002.

Ive tried these the past two years almost and don't know if I notice anything different.

anyone else?

Taking progress pics? Are weights moving up?

I'd do both? Snatch/wide grip rack pulls are never comfortable for me.. I tend to keep in banded rack pulls and regular rack pulls. Banded pulls I throw in when I want to give my lower back a break.

How about a trap bar. It’s wide and
you’re palms are in a neutral grip.

Just don’t pass out!

Snatch grip deadlifts and low block pulls will annihilate your upper back. Ask eugene teo

I always like rack pulls as it would take the lower portion of the movement out which simulates the squat as it is mostly hips being worked from my perspective.

I did floor deadlifts for years, but Smith machine rack pulls from just above the knees are what blew my back up.
