We note that you are taking this test as a general health check. Your history of asthma is noted.
We are pleased to report an excellent profile with no worrying abnormalities.
You have normal red, white and clotting cells. Your CRP level is within the normal range showing no sign of inflammation in the body.
Your kidney and liver function are completely normal showing no indication of disease or inflammation.
Your CK level is high, indicating either having high muscle mass, or engaging in heavy exercise or a protein rich meal prior to testing. If this is unexpected then I would discuss it further with your GP.
There is a slight decrease in your calcium levels, I suggest increasing your intake of dietary calcium, or taking a multivitamin containing calcium.
You have healthy iron levels, normal body proteins (the slight increase in globulin is not clinically significant) and your uric acid result does not place you at risk of gout.
You show no sign of diabetes and your cholesterol profile is excellent with healthy levels of protective HDL cholesterol.
You have healthy thyroid function and your ovarian cancer marker is reassuringly normal. Your hormone levels are all within the normal range and what we would expect for a woman of your age.
Your vitamin levels are all normal.
There is nothing of concern in these results.
We recommend that you repeat your health check in 12 months.
