Wife in first figure competition

Your wife looked great. Who came in ahead of her. I liked her look better than the others I saw in the pics! I agree she could have looked a bit more relaxed in her poses but hey........First show nerves, everyone get's them. She more than held her own up on stage, and at 45 OMG, what a beautiful woman!!

She looks awesome! i also attribute the somewhat tense look to first competition jitters...i was like that too! the more she practices on her own in front of a mirror and WITHOUT the mirror (this is really important so you can "feel" the position you're in since there isn't a mirror when you're on stage!) the more relaxed she'll be on stage.

She'll definitely only improve from here!

I compete in fiqure also and volunteer at the shows too. I think it is fantastic when the older women look better than the ones half their age! I also notice that the first thing to go with the dieting is the butt. Your wife kept hers, Congrats!
