Nice! I grew up by Carbondale, on the other side of Marion out in the sticks. Small world!

Definitely familiar Marion and a few other small towns around that area -Mulkeytown, Vienna and Murphysboro. Along with a few other 20 second drive through towns. Some scenic areas down there. In comparison to Central Illinois.

No Sir, I moved away at 21, as nice as the scenery is there, its full of drugs and no economy to survive in.
I didn't want that for my kids so I've been in Texas now for 20+ years. I do go home on occasions but most my family has died off so the reasons for going back are few and far between.

We always did the pinhole trick in a recipe card. I showed my wife this years ago and she thought I was Einstein.
