Wives HRT clinic driving us crazy - make our own juice?

So my lady signed up at this women’s health/hormonal clinic - which is pretty pricey. She had thyroid issues that the medical system was not helping with and her test was in the negative to which her physician didn’t seem to care.

Obviously getting her some HRT help was paramount. They don’t offer “lady injections” as they called it. They only offer cream and pellets. Her skin is continuously dealing with rashes from the cream and the option of pellets does not seem enticing at all. I’ve looked online and seen bad scar issues and worse from the procedure of slicing the skin and placing a tic-tac sized pellet under.

We just moved residency and do not have the funds to now sign up with a new HRT clinic.

So what I’m considering to do is:
- purchase Test C 200 (I only have Test E 300 and Sus on hand)
- add carrier oil to it so that it measures 100mg per ml.

This would make it feasible for her to pin 10mg per week.

Any thoughts?

I did the same with my wife except diluted to 50 mg/ml. I had to find some sterile MCT oil for injections with BA in it but it's worked great

That will certainly work as far as dosing. What kind of input are you looking for? You didn’t really give any details in your wife if it’s regarding that.

If you were unhappy with your endocrinologist or GYN might not get another opinion from a different line, maybe someone as a referral for your area. Instead of doing it yourself

Mechanic I took my car to was bullshitting around so I just went somewhere else and had it fixed in two days. I wouldn’t have tried to go under the hood myself because I wasn’t happy with the first mechanic ya know?

She was pre-Hashimoto’s disease. The clinic is giving her some “herbal” - or holistic stuff that I don’t understand but somehow her condition drastically improved. I thought that their treatment plan was sketch and certainly wanted to look into other options but she was so emotional at the time (hormones being out of whack) that I thought it best to be supportive and see how things play out.

I was pretty curious if others dealt with annoying factors as far as what is offered at an HRT clinic and what they/their spouse found to work best.

My wife got prescribed the cream, we put her on test prop as a lot of the ladies use it with good results. She pins EOD I got her .3 ml slin pins. Makes it easier to get an accurate dose. She's running 2mg EOD, so far so good, no sides and many benefits, energy, drive, libido all up.

Lab work? What thyroid meds is she taking? Is she menopausal? Estradiol labs/thyroid labs? Main Symptoms/concerns you are trying to address with HRT?


Creams suck and can mess up kids/pets/husbands endocrine system. Seen it many times, even with extremely careful use, it just sticks around.


pellets are also pretty bad (you can't titrate your blood doses on pellets and you might have good levels at first or too high/too low and you can't do anything about it)


Injections are ideal for T/E and the golden standard, but E gel can work (absorbed pretty well for most)

If you want to dial it down by adding more carrier oil, make sure to transfer it into sterile vials using a syringe filter. I don’t know what kind of carrier oil the test c contains which you purchased, but I would use the same to dial it down.

Other advices over here to use a slin pin to measure it more accurately is fine as well. Saves pinning more oil, which is always a plus .

If going with test cyp various UGL's brew "lady test" which is usually 50mg/ml and much easier to dose in a slin pin when it's just a few mg.

Don't have a clue about anything to do with this but wanted to say if you are going to use ugl test i would suggest getting it tested first. Don't want to end up giving some overdosed test or worse an entirely different compound.

I'm not sure if you're thinking of older gels like androgel or some older style creams but the modern stuff is amazingly good provided the compound pharmacy is worth a damn. I use it for trt. Mine is compounded in Atrevis base. You apply 0.25ml to the testicles and it dries in a minute or less. I'm not sure what base women can use but I believe it's applied to the labia. It's such a small amount and dries so fast that there's no way it's gonna be able to spread to others. I've been using it for years, have a wife and daughter, and 5 dogs. Never an issue. It absorbs so well that if I double the dose and use 0.5ml my total t is 3200ng/dl. That's cycle territory and no injections needed

Maybe it's just different with women? I don't have experience there. But it's amazing for men

Labia might work but will still easily contaminate family, pets etc. Ive seen it many times. You're using a gel, gels can work very well. Creams are very very different from gels.



Also, when applied to arms, it will artificially flag as higher than it is in the serum because the needle in the arm vein will pick up more estradiol from the arm skin.



It's higher risk, more difficult to titrate dose and poorly absorbed in many patients. Also, idk about you, but having sex with wife/GF after labial estradiol application (CREAM) means i have a good chance of picking up some intra-penile estradiol.

Blessed. That's awesome. Generally, you're looking at 5-20 mg test cyp or prop per week for HRT. (split twice or once per week with insulin syringe for painless injections).


Do not forget estradiol, without it, many benefits won't stick around for long in many women.

We started with 10mg/wk for my wife, via a clinic, and had to go down to 5, as even 6mg/wk TC had her out of range. Using a 31g 5/18 .3ml syringe we are easily able to dose this low, each IU or Tik as they say, is 2mg when working with a 200mg/ml, super easy.
