Anyone do any type of sport with their dog, schutzhund, Obedience, tracking, agility, anything of the sort?

Just curious if you do and how it's working for you.

Me and Odie did 8week obiedence couse when I first got him and I feel it made all the difference in the world, for me and him. But like anything else with a dog and shit even humans you have to be consistent and maintain the leading role in the house. Try your local adoption center or the pound, they have group classes for a reasonable price ( I paid like $ 300 ) they also have agility classes also which I am getting ready to do in a couple month. I did PSA and Ring Sport (schzultshund with no breed specifics since its for German breeds)a few of my dogs along with may obedience comps. It was great fun.

I trained quit a few dogs for clients for many sports. A working relationship with your dog is extremely rewarding for both of you.
