Working out with a healed broken finger.

Broken pinky is healed just got the pins taken out and I want to get back in the gym asap. Gonna take it slow for a little bit but I plan on going all out within a week. Is there a chance my finger would rebreak from heaving lifting? Is there something I can buy that would protect it. I don't think gloves would do much. Starting a short cycle next week

How long were the pins in? Did you ask your doctor about exercise or activity with your finger?
 
i broke my pinky a couple years ago and never went to the doctor...
it grew back together a bit crooked and now my finger tip has like a 30 degree downsides, but since its just the pinky i dont give a sh*t, lol. doesnt bother me in any way and this way i saved myself from getting surgery and wearing a cast for like 6 weeks.

i never skipped a single workout and actually just normally worked out the day i broke it. its just your pinky. it wont break again from working out and honestly if it does - who cares, were not beauty pageants :D
 
I have dealt with all my fingers breaking at one point or another.Where was the pinky broken? Close to the nail, or near the hand itself? How long since your surgery? A lot more information needed to give any real advice.

Either way, it seems like you have your plans set in motion, so best of luck.
