workout schedule for mass

Trying to switch gears from a precontest workout schedule of 5 to 6 days per week to a DC split but can't seem to stay outta the gym, do you think one can gain the same amount of muscle going 5 to 6 days per week as opposed to 3 days per week? Whats ya'lls take?

Sure just up your dosages to near 3 grams per week and bingo!!!!
 
i tryed to train 3 time a week Tuesday Thursday and Saturdays.
with a kind of full body split i got very strong. it is great if you dont have the time
so try to switch it up week by week. thats i what i do now. Some times i hit the body part 2 times a day. but i all ways have a minimum 3 days off a week
 
i must admit, i do have this problem of thinking "I AM NOT DOING ENOUGH"

it sucks and i know i have to get over this addiction. one thing i have to keep reminding myself is on my off days, i cannot SLACK on my eating. i eat like a champ and murder large amounts of food on my training days but on my off days i get lazy and end up not eating consistently and cut some calories because i am just not hungry enough.
 
Sounds good to me. If you're not hungry, why eat?

I thought I would chime in on this subject. Over the past 4 weeks, I have been training only two days per week. Utilizing a lower body for one workout and upper body for the other workout. Lower body routine revolves around 3 HEAVY sets of barbell squats. Upper body routine utilizies super sets for chest and back. Am I growing ? BW up 3-5 lbs since I started. Strength....squats went from 3 sets 10 reps @ 455lb to 3 sets 10 reps 500 lb.

training 2 days per week is similar to the westside routine because they really only train 2 days heavy per week. the other days are speed days, and vary in intensity, some people go harder than others on those days and keep in mind those guys are way more juiced to the gills than bodybuilders. ive been thinking of doing this style because i dont believe in having a "back" day. like westside, i'd rather throw lats on upper day (rows or pullups which hit bis) and back thickness is covered on lower day when you do a deadlift variation like rack pulls.
