I've already left instructions for my family if anything like that happens. Permanent brain damage? Let me go. Coma? Give me a few weeks and if I am going to be a veggie, pull the plug. Quadriplegic? Better hope my ass never walks again if you save me......because I'll put my crippled foot up your ass!

I take care of patients like this and to me, their lives are horrible. Relying on a machine to live and shit, fuck that. I wouldn't.....no......COULD NOT be happy. Being in a coma for 23 yeas yet being completely with it? Fuck me, give me a gun with a hair trigger on it to end it all.

there was a guy in my high school named darrin.. bad motorcycle accident.. he was in a coma for 3 months.. he said when he came out that he could hear everything they said.. just could not respond.. even heard them talking about removing his tubes ect.. god, it would make ya insane..

yeah i just read this earlier today. this is pretty crazy. the article is saying that something like 40%of coma diagnosis' are wrongly diagnosed and the people are conscious, just unable to communicate. count me out. horrible shit.
