Both sound bad. It's hard not to overthink things because there isn't much detail. Does 2 mean you become one of the best athletes in the world. Could number 1 mean you become one of the most famous cover models in the world. Now if none of that applies and it's simply a choice between looking great and having poor performance or looking terrible and having good performance the choice would be easy for me.

I am not overly vain but I can't help but think the only guys who would say 2 are not attractive to begin with. Anyone who has attained a great physique feels like crap if it disappears regardless what they say. The same could apply to people with poor performance and if you have never had something and it's impossible for you to attain it's value is diminished. I would much rather look great and not be strong or be able to run fast etc.

I love going to the gym and pushing myself and trying to get stronger etc but that would still apply regardless of your performance. There is always someone bigger and stronger than you so I couldn't care less if my bench press was 2pps or 6pps. I could still get great workouts but I would hate to look shit. No one cares if you are curling 10 pounds if you have huge shredded arms. I would be happy squatting 2pps with massive quads that look great compared to someone squatting 800 pounds with fat shitty legs. Some may think that's looks over substance and surely it's better to be able to do something compared to looking like being able to do something and I understand that but it's definitely 1 for me.
 
Meaning things like test, deca, and dianobol do not get/keep people lean the way something like T3, GH, or clen would, but may all be necessary for someone to have a certain physique. So if someone was taking that list, that’s already six things. They may add other stuff and it’s very easy to get to ten or more.

Which ones make you stay under 6% year round? Clen all year sounds a bit harsh on the body.

Id way rather just lift weights and smash hot chicks and live that life any day of the week
 
I don’t know much about gear. There are 158,701 members on Professional Muscle and I might be the only one that’s never done a cycle in his life. Perhaps compound was the wrong word to use. I wasn’t necessarily referring to things that specifically keep/get you lean either. I just meant everything as a whole. When I was a teenager, I was naïve and thought when someone said they were on steroids vs being natural that it meant they were taking one thing. Over the years I found it could be many things. I just meant that when you see someone really big that seems to be 6% or less year round, it really draws into question how much stuff needs to be taken to be that lean with that size and hold it.

Nothing will keep a person lean whose diet isn't in check - unless your just genetically lean to begin with. And anyone can maintain a shredded look with the right diet and a low dose of test regardless of how shit their genetics.
What do you mean "shredded look"? If you're talking 5-7% then no. Not everyone can maintain that indefinitely. Eventually health problems.

Iive seen it posted on forums before.. Alex, then a second guy who works out, followed by a skinny fat dude then a man boob convention. I wish there was an accurate one floating around that has 6-7,8-9, 10-11 or something, all people who lift.

As for staying shredded say 7 percent Year round I'd think there are other variables that come into play. Someone can probably walk around shredded year round at 180lbs with little AAS. Someone would need much more to be 220 shredded year round.

Also metabolism. There may be 2 guys trying to stay 7% at 190. One maybe able to pull it off at 3200 calories the other may need to eat 2200 to keep that look. The guy who can eat 3.2k will be healthier, have an easier time pulling it off etc

I'm not talking about competitive bodybuilding, stage day, "shredded." In talking about real world, every day, normal human being "shredded." Ie, fully defined abdominals, no visible soft jiggly fat anywhere on the body except maybe the ass cheeks. So probably 10% on most guys.
 
Here's an example. This photo had the entire NFL world going crazy about how shredded DK Metcalf is.

I have the body everyone comments on.
Not gear monkeyish.. but a somewhat larger michael Phelps type physique. Tall. Athletic. Very muscular. tanned Good complexion.
I'm also athletic. Coordinated. Can dance.
So I guess I'd say I'm a combination of the positives of 1&2.
 
I love bodybuilding but if being and amazing athlete would make me millions of $ i would be more then happy to drive my bentley or ferrari with some extra bodyfat. Probably life would be on a level i cant imagine so just for the sake of adventure i would choose to be athlete. Would be amazing be able to not worry about cash and going for mini vacation to Maldives or anywhere i really want. There would be shit ton of girls if I would be single so as much as I have love for bodybuilding I think amazing lifestyle would be great reward.

What i meant is that sooner or later i would find somebody decent , the more options you have the more chances you have.
