Wrist strap question - pain in my right wrist

This is probably a stupid question but ...

I've noticed that when i wear straps, my RIGHT wrist HURTS.
It seems that the strap rubs against the inside of my radius bone, and it kills ...
This only happens on the right hand.

Do you think it has something to do with how 'thick' the straps are?
I don't know if they come in different widths?

Can someone fill me in on why this is so painful?!

it's not an 'inside' pain, its just rubbing against the bone sticking out.

not necessarily ... the pressure on your wrist could be from an injury that is putting pressure on a nerve. even a minor one.

maybe, but my wrist is all red - from the strap rubbing against it in that specific spot. You can see the line where the strap was ... i've never injured my wrist(s). It's like the strap was cutting into me.
Does this make sense?

I would try the ones like Sup suggested with neoprene padding on the inside so it doesnt rub so much.

you may also want to try to have the strap more on your hand instead of the wrist itself.

i have small little girl wrist, so I would suggest what the other guys are saying and go for the padded straps. the other ones used to tear my wrist up, but i have a nice padded set now that work grrrrreeeaat!

the fabric is prolly tearing into your skin, thats my guess on it.
