Yeah, the media will only draw attention to the testosterone and try to blow over all the other chemicals found in his system. Heck, Im thinking if you wanted someone dead, using AAS might be a feasible defense in court now. Blame it on the AAS!

i have heard similar shit..

when i ask why they would think that or similar, they go on about the TV and the news saying so, etc..

They will probably skate around that and say something like But he was using steriods and we all know that people on steriods are unstable and have these uncontrollable fits of rage. So he was had test in his blood. Nothing new. Like PHIL said, it only confirms that there was some use but shit all the other drugs, probably legally prescribed, had nothing to do with an induced psychosis that manifested itself at the time of their deaths???? The media is rapidly becoming more unreliable as a source of the truth and swinging more towards entertainment for the masses. how could they think of roid rage being the cause anyway. He gave his wife and son theroputic levels of painkillers, killed them and himself over a 3 day period, placing bibles next to his families bodies. Seems more like a cult thing rather than anything to do with steroids.

So average male has 5L of blood, that would make:
1. 2.5mg xanax
2. 2.0mg hydrocodone
3. 103mg testosterone

maybe the low-testosterone is what got him all depressed and pushed him over the edge.
The xanax and hyrdro are not high doses especially for those who have built a tolerance.

There's nothing left to act as a scapegoat....bottom line is normal people sometimes do fucked up things. There are times when all of us have wanted to kill someone and if we had a gun in our hand we might have done it.

basically in ATL and the news here is still pointing at steroids. One article says 10 x the medical amount was injected b4 he killed himself, others say normal elevated levels. WTF is it? where do these journalists get their info? Yet 3 prescript drugs were found, and alcohol in both wife and chris yet none of this has been talked about on news... they didnt even go into depth about what prescrip drugs were found in benoit's body, just androgen level. Just makes me fukn sick.

They're going to play up ratios now, which is what they've been doing since the medical examiner came out with his statement:

"10 TIMES NORMAL TESTOSTERONE FOUND IN BENOITS BODY".

And then let the people speculate that 10 x testosterone = shit load of STEROIDS and therefore that was the cause.

Like others have said the attention will not be paid to the other drugs in his system, nor behavior at home, nor anecdotal evidence - just the testosterone amount found in his system. That's enough to endict roids.

It's like OJ in reverse - if the hand is too big to fit the glove, then steroids made his hand bigger. OR something like that. (?)

Every headline I have seen leads the story with ignorant things like "under the influence of Testosterone", like it's some sort of foreign LSD he was IV injecting. IT'S A HORMONE, that everyones body produces and everyone has in them. If anyone can't understand the difference then they fall short of the intelligence required to form a supportable opinion. The news is the reason why most americans are very uninformed and mislead. Its depressing. Another sad fact is, the only news reported in the US is murders,suicides, killings, bombings ect. In other countries like Germany and Poland I know for a fact they report all aspects of life going on. Not just the depressing and horrifying stuff. They report the good with the bad.
