I do believe Nubain is stronger and more addictive, as far as i can understand Kratom by some is used to go off opioids. Sorry if i seemed to harsh had a shit day man.

Makes you wonder if it’s a strength thing. Meaning, depending on where you get it, it could be really strong or more mild.

I tried Chris Bell’s brand a long time ago. Felt like a million bucks on it, ran it during a prep for 8-10 weeks. When I came off, I definitely felt withdrawal for about 3 weeks.

Some of the gas station stuff is the Wild West. My friend got to that point, kept graduating up.

What strain were you taking? I used both red and green Bali post workout and gosh damn that was the bomb really put a hamper on powo fatigue and soreness. Was only 3 days a week. But to your point this stuff isn't regulated and doses can vary. I used a legit physical kratom shop. The last straw for me was getting some arrhythmia from it. Potency must have been off as it was towards the time they were banning it. May have had white mixed in or whatever dosing was off but was enough for me to say no mas. I mentally missed it but had no physical symptoms of withdrawal.

It’s definitely not safe or side effect free. I tried it and thought it was trash. But to each his own. It won’t be legal for long. It’s being banned in the state I’m in. Iv see guys spending their entire paychecks on it acting just like crackheads and heroin addicts jonesing for it. I had a guy in a gas station who didn’t know me tell me he was 9$ short and needed his Kratom and said he was hurting withdrawing and asked if id give him the money. I said go get a fucking job and get out of my face. Iv got no sympathy for retards like that. I have lots of real legitimate pain and I don’t need anything for it. Pain from withdrawing is pain you created yourself and I’m not in any way sympathetic to it. It’s a choice despite what addicted say. They chose that bullshit. lol

Never tried it. Nothing against it, just never did. A friend of mine got married about 4 years back or so. Her husband was supposedly rehabbing from a Kratom addiction and was clean before the wedding. Turns out he was still using it and is now supposedly clean and filed for divorce because "he was high most of the time" as far as his decisions. My friend is a legit good human, very sweet girl. Does that shit really fuck people uo that bad and cause that many problems?

Kratom had me hooked bad. I was clean and sober off opiates for a good decade before I tried Kratom. The effect feels exactly like percocets and vicodin with the nods and all. I rationalized because it was legal. Never again

Many states have adopted laws specifically allowing the sale of Kratom as there was a lot of support for it. Some have gone the other way. When the FDA was coming down on it years ago and looked at banning it the massive feedback they got from the average person surprised them as well as the picketing in front of their building and the immediately backed down. I just to the caveat emptor. I have heard of countless people that have damaged their body and health with anabolics but i figure they can do as they please too. If they ever develop a drug that reduces pain/discomfort with little to no side effects i will be lining up for it. I would rather feel comfort then feel tough. But till then i will live with what i got and just pencil in the next surgury for the future.

If I remember correctly… mostly maeng da? I had some red and green vein, but leaned more on the MD. It was from Chris Bell’s company. Probably still have it in my old supplement container. Never bought any gas station stuff.

I loved kratom when I worked overnight. I could never take more than a teaspoon at a time, but it gave me energy all night and actually made me want to talk to people. My friends would take huge scoops, and I never understood how.

I tried it again recently, and now every time I do, I get extremely nauseated for days.

Look up the brand Feel Free. It’s currently causing a lot of people problems, to the point that some rehab clinics are specifically treating it. You can buy it at gas stations. I haven’t tried it myself, it's expensive.

Had a friend that died of a heart attack and he was abusing Kratom. Kept upping the dosage as he became tolerant to it and I'm sure he was using other pain killers for his back pain. I had asked to get off the kratom but was a bit late. He was 65 and a good powerlifter back in the day.

I had an addiction problem to opioids for years, and I was told to use Kratom to come off....no one ever told me how bad it was for you body and how it just made me addicted to that. its awful stuff and I would never recommend it for anyone.

honestly man it is a slippery slope with that stuff. i know people talk about it like it is just some harmless plant or a "better" version of coffee but for some guys it turns into a full blown opiate-style addiction. if you are eating it all day every day it definitely numbs your brain and makes you a total zombie which would explain why he was making such trash decisions. the withdrawals are no joke either- people get the shakes and crazy anxiety just like coming off the hard stuff. sucks for your friend because she sounds like she just got caught in the crossfire of his mess but yeah that kratom shit can absolutely wreck a person if they have an addictive personality. better to just stay far away from it if you ask me!

I've been taking one heaping teaspoon of Maeng-Da for over 5 years as a pre-workout three times a week and can't understand anyone getting hooked and taking anymore than that unless you've got an addictive personality, that's the bottom line. Stuff tastes like shit and can easily constipate you if you toss and wash it like I do. Can't comprehend all the fear mongering over this stuff but I guess It's related with the strain and the effect you're looking for.

Wow, didn't know people had addiction to this. I take it daily. I'm in Thailand and they sell the leaves that you can chew or they make tea from it. It is delicious. To me, it's like a nootropic. I have some in the morning and some in the early afternoon. It's a nice "pick me up". I have never taken enough to get any high but I like the added energy. I tried to make the tea from the leaves and my chemistry skills failed, lol. It's everywhere here. The construction guys chew it all the time. It's very cheap. In the USA, I used the White or Green strain but not much. Here, I have no idea what strain these leaves are. But it must be the white bc i get the same energy from it.
