WTF With Kratom?

3g gives me so much energy…I think 40g might just blow my head clean off!!!

For me, besides the energy it gives, it also has an anti-depressant type effect on me. I feel "happier" after about one hour of taking it. Not sure if anyone else gets this added benefit.

What is this 7-oh people are reffing to? How is it different from the various powders from the leaf(that’s all I’ve ever used)?

Oh man... 7oh is no good. I've tried it several times. I actually have some sitting at my house. It's basically the strongest part of kratom, extracted into a powder, usually pressed into a pill.

Around here, people call it "gas station heroin". My buddy owns a smoke shop and he has people coming in spending $250-$500/day to feed their addiction. It won't kill you, but coming off is nearly impossible. I know a few people that have gone to rehab for it. It feels similar Oxycontin, no joke.

No this is some various refined analogue of some kratom species I believe kratom is the leaf.

I am biased on this issue because it has allowed my wife to lead a fairly functional life. She has multiple chronic pain issues that kratom has helped. I've used it for a back sprain here and there but she uses it daily to not be in constant pain. She has experienced withdrawals once when trying to go cold turkey but amazingly it was only once and she does taper down or off sporadically to reset her tolerance. I'm actually currently stocking up kilos because of the possible ban.

I've read users talk about 7-OH and pseudo-indoxyl and it's pretty clear these 2 are far worse regarding addiction, as they are more potent than mitragynine.

IMO, if you are using for euphoria you are guaranteed for problems. Just like meth users vs narcoleptics who use methamphetamine (Desoxyn) to stay awake. The latter don't use doses that blast the dopamine receptors and almost never risk addiction. The dose makes the poison.

Guys I use 3-4 times a week because I was taking to much ibuprofen and acetaminophen which showed up on my labs with elevated liver and kidney numbers. I also had a morphine script for 2 years. The guy who was prescribing it for me got questioned by LEO because apparently someone told where he was getting it from after failing a drug test. He told me straight up that he needed to chill out for a while. He helps a lot of police, military, firefighters, and EMS workers. I only used it a few times a week and had ZERO problems not having morphine.
I tried Kratom so I don’t have to take all the over the counter medication. If I don’t need it I don’t take it. When I do take it I take 5mg of Red Vein Bali but never more than 2 scoops a day.
I don’t feel addicted because I can go weeks without it if I’m not training. It really helps blunt pain in my joints be it from my job or training.
I’ve also had surgeries on both knees and shoulders….. 7 in total and was given pain meds and never had a problem when pills were gone. Maybe I’m a lucky guy because I never felt high or buzzed…just pain relief. I don’t know anyone who uses it
regularly except a few Asian friends I work with whose parents use it to stop diarrhea. They don’t use it unless they are having stomach issues.
I’ve learned a lot from this post but in my opinion not everyone gets addicted.

And here I am always worried that my 1 to 3 g a few days a week might lead to some type of addiction! I had no idea anything like that even existed!

Tried this many years ago and didn't notice a single benefit from it. This was way back when it first came around. Might have been a bad source or user error -- no telling.

Yes, all powder. I use mostly green strains and some reds. Like 80% green, 20% red

Never tried it. Nothing against it, just never did. A friend of mine got married about 4 years back or so. Her husband was supposedly rehabbing from a Kratom addiction and was clean before the wedding. Turns out he was still using it and is now supposedly clean and filed for divorce because "he was high most of the time" as far as his decisions. My friend is a legit good human, very sweet girl. Does that shit really fuck people uo that bad and cause that many problems?

He said FBI agents were following him and someone had hidden invisible cameras in his home. Shortly after the phone call I was reading the local news and read that he and his wife died in a car accident. It was later determined to be murder/suicide as he purposely drove his car into a freeway wall.

He said FBI agents were following him and someone had hidden invisible cameras in his home. Shortly after the phone call I was reading the local news and read that he and his wife died in a car accident. It was later determined to be murder/suicide as he purposely drove his car into a freeway wall.

What else was he taking potentially?? I have never heard of hallucination from Kratom, at least directly or on the net, but who knows…. Could have been a shady supplier.

That’s sad. But I highly doubt that was from kratom. There was something else going on.

People blame kratom to be the devil but it’s not. People just don’t know how to control things.

It happens with everything. Even aas. people that think if 300mg is good then 1000mg would be out of this world. Yea till your health takes a shit

All I know is, the dude was the most normal dude for 50 years and then woke up bat shit crazy one day. He lived in a fantasy world for about one month before the murder/suicide.
