X64 - 64Bit - XP HP Print Drivers

You may notice that most HP printers do not have driver support X64 or 64 bit Windows XP or Server 2003 on HP's site. Download the Vista X64 - 64 bit drivers and they work perfectly on both XP & Server 2003.

Yes, we had to try out a few. Since we upgrade to 64 bit processors and the 2003 x64 deal, the HP 9050dtn drivers didn't work for us. We were using the PCL 5 drivers but just installed the postscript drivers and they work just fine.

I couldn't find the 64 bit drivers for our color printer but HP tech support said the 64 bit drivers for another printer were okay for the color.

Those 64 bit servers are fast! We got 4 Dell Poweredge 9050's with the dual core xeons. Each one has 6 x 143Gb hard drives. I don't know if that's the exact number but we have room to spare. We could probably power the whole building with this ract of 2U servers. We also upgraded to the Powervault dual LTO3 rack mount backup unit. Our old switch and router was 10/100 but now the Cisco we have is 10/100/1000.... we are gigabit across the board now.

Win 2003 supports 64 bit processors?

The 64 bit version, yes. NT 3.1 to 4.0 for DEC Alpha was also produced. With Win 2000, they made a version that supported Intel's Itanium, but not X64 architecture from AMD.
