yes. it blocks the alpha 2 adrenoceptor, which activated acts as to shut down Norepinephrine release (basically the off switch or brake on fat burning). this is why alpha 2 rich fat tissues are reffered to as stubborn fat.

yohimbine does not boost testosterone levels. because of its erectile effects, people erroneously believed it did (even ended up in PDR- since removed)
