uhhhh, lol....yes of course we did. Why wouldn't we? We speak ENGLISH.

Foreign movies are great but they are a niche in the USA.

Trying to read subtitles across the room even on a large tv sucks balls.

Narcos was incredible and it was in subtitle with some English.

Just finished stranger things 2 though. Poor Will, that boy went through some shit show was great

The subtitle thing I can understand Allex's view. But without a doubt most of the best tv is in English. There are a few amazing films in foreign languages but for the most part they are English. So guys in the US don't really need to watch foreign stuff. Growing up in other countries things may be different. Although now most big films come in different languages. I personally find most Spanish, French and Italian tv rubbish and it's on a lot in my house. The same for Brazilian soaps and even Indian stuff... generally very cheesy and over the time. The quality of the programs is terrible for the most part. Most of the tops tv series are American and I am from the UK. I personally have no problems with subtitles and watch many things with them on.

Regular TV usually sucks everywhere, but you miss a few gems for avoiding subtitles.

Two of the best horror movies of the last years were not in English, Under the Shadow and Let the right one in. Also, great movies from Korea, like 13 Game of Death and The Wailing.

From Brazil, you have City of God, Elite Squad and many others...

Also, Narcos...

I watched E.T. in the theater when I was 8, with subtitles. Didn't bother me a bit.

Sounds like laziness, honestly. Growing up, I didn't know a single person over 10 that had problems with subtitles in movies or TV, unless the person had some impairment.

As much as people love to hate on his rambles--he's the only current BB that is even remotely enjoyable to listen to speaking, and sometimes the way he talks conveys emotions directly to the watcher / listener. It's weird, but he's got a certain charisma to him that none other have been able to touch in a long time.

I like seeing him branch out and do well--he alone has fought for and earned it. His "thoughts become things" mantra works well when you see that he's doing it for himself.
