For those of you that don't know Steven, he is a legend and grand champion in modern day thumb wrestling. I don't know why he risked his freedom just to have that edge. It's a shame.

Performance enhancing drugs are an issue on the LPGA. As of 2008 they will begin testing. There is definitely an issue with womens pro golf. The sport decided that 75lb 4'8" Korean girls shouldn't be hitting 300+ yards off the tee.
Say and debate what you will, drugs are an issue in womens golf.
Mens pro golf is a different story. It's about technique, not muscle mass. They are more worried about hot clubfaces in the PGA than they are about drugs. A good example is to look at the physical shape of the major winners, nobody is going to call them muscular and most of the sport could be classified as obese.
The big worry is that the profile of the winners field might dramatically change in womens golf. The very large woman putting her 100lb ass into her swing could be the norm in the top 20. I don't think the LPGA wants to exchange Natalie Gulbis and Paula Creamer for Laura Davies. Imagine the new lpga calendars, whoa!

What about good technique with added strength? If any PGA golfer was on something I think they would be on it to increase strength as their first priority rather than muscle mass. That would make a hell of a difference for the short hitters.

To put it another way. Marcus Ruhl doesn't have the flexibility to hit a long iron. He might be able to hit the ball sitting in 4ft of long rough, but he isn't going to hit a ball far.
Strength is a minor part of Mens golf. You can take gh to keep you off the senior tour for a few years, but really there's no benefit to performance enhancing drugs in golf.
Put it this way. 70% of your scoring shots in the PGA come from less than 100yds, you don't need dbol,drol and test to make a shot from inside 100.
Drugs in golf are a joke, a pr ploy because the LPGA are going under the microscope.
