Your experience with rogaine

I'm considering getting rogaine for my Dad this Christmas and I just wanted to know if anyone here has used it and what your experience has been ?

That doesn't answer my question asking what your experience is with it.

Telling me it would be the worse present ever doesn't tell me why I shouldn't get it for my Dad who is mostly bald.

Its greasy and if you ever stop youll revert back.

It better for some than others. Generic 5% is so cheap it's worth trying.

The foam is much better to administer than other liquid versions.

The foam smells really good and is like mouse. Your weak hair falls out and grows back thicker.

I have been using it for 3 months...I noticed my hair thinning a little on my crown so I thought I would give it a shot (recommended by my gal who cuts my hair). So far I am happy with the results....but I am far from bald. I am using a generic from Walgreens (foam). What I hear is once you start plan on using it permanently as what the chemical saves will rapidly fall out if you stop applying.

Buy the three pack of real rogain brand foam. It has coupons on the box, or at least it used to.

Unless the generic stuff works as well.

it's worthless for a lot of people, especially those who have already lost most of their hair like your father. seems to work best for people that have experienced very minimal hairloss to begin with, and any gains will vanish once treatment is stopped.

for years i used rogaine /kirkland minoxidil

since 4-5 months i use regaine foam

it works quite welle,better than the liquid version

also not leaves your hair greasy

Work for me!! I just started an extensive hair regime so I'll report back in a few months.

Used it and saw noticeable improvement, however it made my skin itchy and dry.
