Your Fertility Protocol

Hey all,

Longtime lurker, first time poster just trying to assist a friend. He is someone who has been blasting and cruising on pretty high dosages for several years now. He’s 35, and looking to have another child. He has been on hCG twice a week and has had no success for about a year. I have no familiarity with fertility protocols or his overall numbers.

So, what did you guys who had extreme difficulty conceiving do? Protocols and experiences are welcome. Thank you.

do a sperm analysis now and see where you at with count, motility, morphology.

On test or AAS motility and morphology will be tanked.

Come off cycle, hcg 1000ius eod, hmg or FSH 75ius daily. Run these all till confirmed pregnancy.

SA again in 3 months. Check SA.

Lots of great experiences in this thread from people starting at different places in the journey. I started this thread when we wanted to have our second kid (our oldest is 13) and I was close to 40. Our little guy is about to turn 3 and I had literally 0 sperm count when I started.

So I did a sperm count test in December 2023 and had basically nothing detectable. Had been on TRT for about 3 years at this point. I started HMG 75iu 2x a week after about 60 days of this I was producing sperm. At about 90ish days my partner got pregnant, but miscarried. Around this point or so I added HCG at 2500iu 2x a week. In November my partner got pregnant again, our daughter is now just over 6 weeks old.

I never got off TRT either during this process.
