That's correct.. labs are the rule of thumb for cruise... idea of cruise is let body take break and reboot so usual dose is likr the 100-200/wk TRT/HRT dose... but how much in that range is determined by a dr after starting u on the low end and seeing what your lab ranges are... the doses get ramp up if ur levels arent optimal and every doc is dif on what their view of optimal is...No, you don't.
You need to see, via blood testing, where your total testosterone levels are on 100-150mg/wk exogenous testosterone first.
Just because others are using 200-350mg/wk - doesn't mean you have to.
Whether or not some of these "HRT doses" are actually HRT doses or small steroid cycles I dont know.
personally when my stress levels was making me hypothyroid he did a full work up and i told him i was at the time running 750/wk test with letro wanting to work on my recomp with modified dieting... so the labs came back and my crit was high end of normal range but that it, after that he told me i could pretty much stay on up to probably 300/wk and have no issues when i told him the in btwn cruising dose was around 150/wk..but again labs were done for him to evaluate and advise... i can say im lucky with him being an HRT advocate and open minded.. he still was a good dr by looking out for my health and not jeopardize it but also at least understood i was wanting to maintain a elevated performance level as well so advised of a happy medium to consider..
