Zig Zagging your way to muscular Weight Gain

I'm totally confused here, I was reading in my book "Hardcore Bodybuilding a Scientific Approach". The best way to gain muscle is to Zig Zag your way to muscular weight gain. Their theory is that you should consume access calories for 1 to 2 days and then consume follow a restriction for 3 to 5 days. The theory is that the weight you gain in the 2 days will put off your Basal metabolic rate and then by resticting your calories your body gets used to it or something and you can gain more muscle this way. This really fucking confuses me as I'm just trying to get the fastest way to add muscle and don't know what the fuck this book is talking about, yet it's half written by Tom Platz so if anyone could help me out with this theory or if anyone has a better one to gain the maximum amount of muscle, (muscle being the focus I could not care about fat.) please help a brotha out.
 
EAT

I may be wrong,and the pros here will correct me,but I am of the opinion the ONLY way to get BIG is to EAT BIG.Its alot easier to cut up once you have bulk then to keep lean and get huge at the same time.This is what drives me to be in a perpetual bulk.I will get as big as possible before I take seriously a cutting program.I think its the only way.The bigger you are,the heavier you lift,the heavier you lift the bigger you get.The cycle continues.There are alot of very big guys,especially some powerlifters that look fat,but you have no idea how much muscle is under that layer of excess.I believe this is the way.....
 
This is a good strategy to get lean body mass, i am doing this this year.
I always eat a lot the others years to get a lot of weight, strenght and muscle and then i loose the fat with diet to the show, this is the best way to get big. So if you want to grow do my of season diet...
And remember....

There is no space for the littles!!!!!!!!
