I know nicotine has been used during diets to curb hunger but I saw Big Jon Heck the Troponin athlete talking about Zyn along with his pre-workout for the nootropic benefit. Mentioned it to a friend at the gym and he actually had a pouch in then. I decided to give it a try. I can only do 2mg. 4mg gets me a little too buzzed. But I get a more subtle wake up/energy and some focus. Nothing like adderall or anything crazy but on top of the Troponin ATP (which I really like) I really like it. Admittedly might be a little placebo. Sidenote, also used them during some long drives to the beach recently when we left at 4am and I didnt want to drink a ton of coffee and have to pullover to pee every 5min.

Just curious if anyone else has tried it or giving it a recommendation if you want to.
 
I use a Rogue pouch every day at the gym, the ones who say "oh you aren't gonna get a pump or youre gonna ruin your gains." they are full of shit. it works and works well.

There was a huge thread on 7-0h and how addictive it is. I can literally start and stop 7-0h use no problem. These vapes...not the case. Nicotine is one hell of a drug. Not telling anyone not to use it but tread cautiously.

Echoing your experience- quitting smoking 20 years ago was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Harder than losing almost 100 pounds, to give some perspective… very very tough mentally.
 
Beefstu has used it during preb so ask him maybe.
 
Pouches tend to be less addictive then vaping/smoking and if you stay at a low dose (2mg pre workout) I think it will only benefit your lifts with little sides. I get a nice energy and mental boost which is great in prep as I try to keep my caffeine levels lower in prep to maintain sleep.
 
I’ve tried useing zyn befor and during the workout and I did notice my veins to be more constricted usally my arms have a lot when I’m pumped, but when useing zyn you could barley see them how small they were , maybe just me but I see the same thing with high stim pre workouts cause the caffeine
 
I don’t use them pre-workout much but I do use zyn and nic nac naturals at work if I really need to lock in and focus on something. Also use them on long drives to sports games….I also coach football and put one in before every practice and games. I personally get good clean energy and focus from them.
 
I think nicotine is useful as a nootropic, however it is a vasoconstrictor and may interfere with blood flow and pump. It also raises my blood pressure quite a but. Personally, I try to avoid nicotine pre workout and just rely on a well rounded pre workout supplement.

And i have no problem going 6-8 months on diet so respect to you

Is imposible for me to enjoy coffee without cigarette
 
I'm so on the fence about this. I sort of want to try it. I do not have an addictive personality at all. I mean alcohol for instance I always had a few beers on saturday but like 14 months I was just like "nah I'm done". Smoked cigs a bit in college and then...nah I'm done. BUT...everyone really warns about nicotine. I just feel like I'd kind of enjoy it either pre workout at times, during long car rides, or just sitting out by the firepit on a saturday lol.

But everyone always freaks me out about it.
 
Yea, nicotine can be a handy tool during an early morning workout. Much better than caffeine. Both have about the same stim effects (and vasoconstricting effect). The iron plates don’t vibrate when you take nicotine though.

I dream that a source will pack oral AAS into a pouch format. If raws weren’t so damn hard to get, I’d love to try making a nicotine/caffeine/AAS pouch!
 
As a side note, Zyns are over-hyped.

There’s MUCH better brands available. Broaden your horizons! @WskyCowboy mentioned Rogue, which is widely available and has a much better pouch texture and flavor profile. Lucy has a collab with Ice Breakers where each pouch has an Ice Breaker flavor orb in it to release a burst of flavor. Velo+ is really good. On! makes a mini pouch that you barely notice is even there.

that said, it does raise your blood pressure significantly, reduces appetite significantly, and is a vasoconstrictor - as mentioned above.

but i knew that would happen, so i used it to my advantage because now the doctor bumped up my amlodipine and prescribed me 5mg nebivolol upon request (which is what i was really after).

About as much as caffeine does.

I do take it every workout. At least unless I forget which happens sometimes lol. It doesnt give me the crazy melt your face jitter feeling but 300mg of caffeine def hits. "Cleaner" is maybe a word? Energy and some focus? And I dont crash. Otherwise I am super sensitive to pre workouts and only use 1/2 servings bc I get super jittery, mid 120s HR and cold sweats. I dont get any of that from ATP.

As for vasoconstriction... I have zero problems getting a pump lol. That and I am not worried about the addiction. I have never craved it or felt like I wanted one outside of pre workout or travel which isnt a "oh I NEED one". Just treat it like any other supplement or energy drink. But I do know some folks have bad energy drink habits. I never had that either.

EDIT- Oh and as for BP I took the ATP and Zyn, trained and had a Dr apt after and was 109/66. I take Losartan and HCTZ and have been for over a year. That is the best my BP has been though I have been doing much more cardio this off season than before so I am sure that plays a role.

I appreciate all the info. Sounds like a solid product and I've been thinking about giving it a try and now that I read your experience with it, I'm pretty sure I will very soon :)
