USDA Prime Beef

So I guess I'd lived my whole life never having tried this stuff. Maybe I'd had it at a steakhouse but I've never bought it. Got some at costco. Good grief if this is not the best tasting beef I've ever had.

Had a simple marinate of EVOO and a small bit of Montreal Steak Seasoning [or whatever its called] and Hawaiian Sea Salt grilled to medium rare-medium. Melted in the mouth like cotton candy.
I don't eat much red meat these days but I assure you now I'm a prime exclusivist. Yes its about double the price of choice which is what you find in most places but its worth it.

Prime Beef is fantastic, if you can afford it. I sell food for a living, so I can get meat at cost , and it is still cost prohibitive at times. For my money though there is no better eating than a prime ribeye. The marbling is beautiful and the bite like no other! Choice Angus is a pretty good buy, if you buy it from the right farm/beef packer. Creekstone makes a great product imo.

Go look up how to age it in your own fridge and then see how you like it!

It really is amazing how good a prime steak can be. When I buy tenderloins at Costco I'll freeze them and thaw out one every couple of weeks as a treat. The rest of the time I'm downing chicken breasts and ground turkey because it's cheap.

Yeah chicken is cheap so are eggs but damn is that prime beef good. I mean this is literally the stuff you find for $50 at a steakhouse

had me a prime ribeye last night. little kosher salt frsh cracked pepper garlic salt and seasoning salt grilled till medium rare. That is all a good steak needs right there.
