Is there any type of deload in the UHT Program?

A little unclear where the deload ("back off time") comes in or if at all? Everything is always taken to failure in each phase correct?
 
I would like more input on this as well. But I can tell you that your body does need a deloading time other wise you progress will slide backwards
 
Yes you can reload every 6 wks. Just like they do in HST and build back up over 2wks. You can also micro load and progress more slowly over time. Adding ounces to the bar instead of lbs.

I can not give to much away or my paying customers here will get a little POD.
You can back off 20% of your max weight. Set up 3 full body workout 3x a week. Build back up by adding weight each workout until you are back to your failure weight. Then restart your UHT by adding 10% to your weight you left off with last cycle and work up to 8 for compound and 15 for iso and then micro load to keep the cycle going.
