1-pack Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (thawed or frozen)
1-bottle sauce (I used Frank's Red Hot Buffalo small bottle)
Set on low, for 6 hours (thawed) or 8 hours (frozen)...

Not only does it make the house smell good, its set it and forget it... and then before you know it, its done...

I had my wife put it on when she left for work in the AM and when I got home from the gym after work, it was done...

Do u have to put any water in the crock pot with the hot sauce sorry i have no idea ive only used mine once

It depends... if u use frozen chicken, no, cause there will be plenty of moisture from the thawing of the chicken... if u use thawed chicken, use 2 cups of water, or chicken stock, etc.

sorry one more thing does the chicken just pulled apart so its shredded after being in there for 6hrs
 
I used 2 forks and it literally just shredded with ease... it was wonderful!
 
This is how my wife has been doing my chicken for a while now and I love it. There are plenty of other ways to eat that chicken too, you just have to use a little imagination. Homemade tacos, shredded chicked on a salad, quesodillas, in some ramen noodle if money is tight... etc. The possibilities are endless.

Thanks man! I love to do new things... but this might be the EASIEST way to make bulk chicken... I literally didnt have to do shit... and it was awesome!
 
If I had a crock pot I would probably do this but I don't. I use salsa with my chicken and rice and it's pretty good regardless. Shredded and moist makes it easy though.

Does the chicken cook down a lot? Meaning if you have 8 lbs raw does it still yield a good amount.

Salsa is good too! Love me some medium to hot salsa...

I cooked a pack of chicken (6.5 lbs packaged weight) and it yielded me about 20 - 130g meals... so roughly 5.75lbs...
 
if your diet allows add some BBQ sauce. crazy good. so many ways of doing this.

i heard you can use a ranch packet you would normally use for dip and a bottle of franks red hot just cook it on low overnight and u have buffalo chicken in morning

How many lbs is "1-pack"? Does it matter?
I def need a new way to cook chicken so I want to give this a try this weekend.
