Hey everyone. This is my first thread after a year of lurking and reading. I actually used the search function and it seems like no one has made one of these.
So to share, here are my specs.
I7-860 overclocked to 3.5ghz
Geforce gtx 980 graphics 1080p native.
Msi z170 motherboard
16 gb of corsair vengeance RAM
650W power supply
1tb western digital black hdd
Corsair hydro h110i gt watercooler
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
The picture shows its a tight fit and the watercooler required some case modification on order to make it work. The case is an antec sonata proto locking atx mid tower case. This case did not come with provisions of water cooling. So in order to make the radiator fit I cut into the hard drive bay with tin snips. Very crude job, but, it works. Next I had to cut a hole in the case to allow the fans on the rad to pull air. Made a template with paper and traced it to the case and hacked into it with a dremel. After that I drilled the holes for the mounting hardware and its good to go. Runs most games very well.
Ark survival: epic settings with 45fps.
Gta v: maxed out and frame locked at 60fps.
I have yet to test crysis 3.
