mr. boom

I've noticed mr. boom going back to the **broken link removed**

Some of the recent photos still show a strong potential for size and shape.
Example One
Example Two.

However, some photos lead me to believe he is not tapping into his potential (especially in size), and needs some fine-tuning in the final prep, posing, & trunk selection.

I believe his potential is unusual. He can be riveting if he finds his formula and is more aggressive.

First I want to thank Lou for all the help he has provided to me in the past few years.
I have been following Troponins off season diet consistantly and training is on a whole new level. I have already gained some quality muscle since aug 1. More than the entire year last year and I'm about to start working with Dantae (DC). Guess I'll see you in Miami Lou.

Thanks
Curt

Agreed. He has amazing potential and a sensational structure.

Wow. thats some motivation I've been needing.

Thank you

Sorry...I'm just getting error messages when I click on any of the photos...

If you have enough feedback from Lou and BigA then great -- they're consistently correct in everything they say. But if you want more, please repost.

Can't veiw

I keep getting error messages when I try and veiw the pics.

Those pics are no longer on the net to view. Here are a few at the start of my off season. wt is about 208 here but currently at 216. Not even shaved so lines are blurry and lighting is poor but I will be back with good quality pics in a week or so.

The broken links are to Photoreflect, which does not keep photos up very long after the event. I believe the only links that work are my first link & Mr. Boom's last links.

Because I am more familiar with him, I reiterate my first post.

However, I can see the other judges being handicapped. I find it difficult to evaluate off-season photos because there are so many variables that go into developing the finished product. With off-season photos we're projecting what the competitor will look like. In reality, he could come in better than we imagined, or completely off-target.

I find it very common to be presented with off-season photos where I have no clue. I also find it very common to be presented with off-season photos showing potential, but at competition time, it is apparent the competitor went down the wrong path.

I agree with Lou. We are accustomed/trained to judging contest ready athletes at shows. It is very hard to make a good judgement on offseaon competitors.....

Lou and Mike,

I never thought about the issue of looking at off-season photos before, but it makes perfect sense!

Probably stands to reason that competitors themselves would also have difficulty with self-evaluation in the off-season, right?
