Okay, im very new here, but not new in bodybuilding. I just discovered this site. I am very short, and i know that is going to hinder my bodybuilding. I am 5`2ish.. i currently weigh around 187ish. I am looking to compete in may of 2009 at the NPC/IFBB Keystone Classic ProAM comp. So i have about two years to go, with much much time to bulk up and gain size.

Be as mean as you want, i want to hear all the facts with what i need to work on!

Things I know
-My posing is not good.. I know, iwasnt trying to be perfect and i have a lot of work to do in that catogory.

-My legs need to be brought up big time.
-My side delts need to be worked on a lot as well
-Calves are my strong point, pics dont show it to well


Give me all ur comments:) I got two years left to put this all together!

You have a ton of size, especially for your age. In 2 more years you can be enormous.

That being said, you are on the fat side. Do a proper cutting program, getting close to comp shape. It will teach you how to get ripped, which will help you in the future. When you will be lean, you can see what structure and symmetry flaws you have as well. Those cannot be observed now as you have too much fat on.
Also, after the diet phase, you will have a huge rebound and you will get bigger than you would have otherwise.

Thank you very much. I plan on finishing out my bulk, until december, and then for the next 4-5 months i am going to be big time cutting. Basically, a practice trial and error run for my competition. Then after that, i will bulk back up but not to anywhere near the bf im at now, then its time for 16 weeks on contest prep!

Your plan sounds good. Just don't get any fatter from now until December.
 
Some serious muscle there for sure, just get the bodyfat down now as BigA
has suggested. Will make your first contest prep all the more easier.

Thanks man, appreciate it. My bf was down alot throughout high school until my freshman year of college, it went up because i was in a dorm, and eating caf food 3 times a day. Sucked, but i realized i wont make it anywhere doing that, so now my sophomore year, i got an apartment! I can cook my own food 24//7.

Im giving myself plenty of time for this comp, i wana be completely confident when i step on stage!

I figured I would update. These pics were taken in november on the last day of my bulk. Through december i was in PCT so I didnt loose any bf. Starting january 15th, i started slowly cutting. Plan on doing that until june. It is going good, I am cutting very slowly holding onto all my muscle. Losing bodyfat slowly but at the pace i want. Will update again when my cut is over:)

I was around 196lbs in those pics.
I am currently 189lbs. (BF unsure, but about 3%ish lower then those pics so far)
I am 5`1 (Very short), 19 years old currently

THANKS!!! Im going for that Super Heavyweight look but since im 5`1, ill have that image as a middleweight! :)
 
Big A is correct, as he usually is.

I'd add that you should start practicing your mandatory posing NOW, preferably with someone coaching you. It is still looking very awkward and uncomfortable, and you need to be at a level of practice/expertise at which YOU can choose/control what YOU want the judges to see.
