Opinions on NPC Bikini Division in 2009

I would like to hear the opinions of the other judges on this forum about the upcoming Bikini Division the NPC plans on adding in 2009.

I'm dead set against it and will not judge a contest with this division in it. Nothing wrong with bikini model physiques but they don't belong in the same contest as women who have put in the effort to develop their physiques and have dieted hard enough to be conditioned. Let them have a contest all their own.

I understand that bikini model bodies will mean increased ticket sales, it's no secret that T & A generates income. So what's next....? Is the NPC Wet T-Shirt Division just around the corner?

yeh man, I'm against it also.......of course the NPC (Manion) will do anything to bring in revenues...part of the business. I really think they are trying to get more publicity with mags etc. Why else would they add this division to NPC Contests. It has nothing to do with bodybuilding.....
oh well, my 2 cents worth.......
