I believe that I'm the norm in the sense that I eat conveniently, as getting 5-6 meals in per day is tough as it is. I try to keep things affordable as well which usually has me eating White/Brown rice with Chicken/beef and some fibrous veggies with some fruits (I actually rotate fruits often). Any supplemental fat's are usually chia seeds and Coconut/MCT oil. I've noticed that lots of bodybuilder's and people in this industry talk about the importance of variety within you're macros. I've read the "Food Allergy and intolerance" reasoning and I'm sorry but I don't buy into it at all. I know there are some great minds on this forum that could hopefully provide some insight on to whether or not eating with monotony is a problem or giving a good reason to have variety at the expense of increased cost (possibly) and increased inconvenience.

So long as you hit all of your required vitamins and minerals it does not matter.

I just eat whatever is on sale that week and that's how I get my variety.
 
I believe there can be some truth to the food allergy hypothesis. I know of many dogs that get fed the same thing for long periods of time that develop allergies to the food they have been eating. Would be harder for people. But I have friends that are now allergic to the foods that they ate all the time when they were children.
 
Food allergies! This is why John Meadows suggest you prepare your eggs differently every 3-4 weeks so you do not develop allergies. Its precautionary...you may get away with consuming the same food the same way for a long time but you its not hard to be preventative about it.
 
I've only read a bit on food allergies I read one article on a medical journal that oversimplified it. I need to research it more. For now it's hard to beat the "Buy what's on sale" method. Keeps things fresh and avoids monotony.
