Great conditioning! In those photos you look like youre still in your 40s too. How are all your joints and low back feeling? I remember your back was bothering you a lot. Im only 43 now but my low back is really screwed up lately so that I can hardly squat, bent row, or stiff leg deads.

My lower back is hit and miss. I can go from feeling wonderful to " I can't tie my shoes". I run to the quack-O-practor and he puts me back in line and a few days later......good to go. But deads and stuff like that are way out of the question. Such an important move and I can't do it. This is one of my problems to work out. I did get the belt you said to get.

You sound like me. A good powerlifting belt make a big difference. Are you able to do bentover barbell rows and squats most of the time at least? Im like you and just said screw doing the deadlifts because if I try I cant hardly walk, sit, or sleep for the next 7 days.

Congrats CG! A lot of tough competition this year...I think it was the biggest Masters Nationals they've had...and it was very close at the top.

I ended up 6th in my class (40+ Heavyweight), but it all depended on who you talked to on how I matched up.
