3lb. chicken
Sauce (or use your favorite)
3 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Cut chicken into pieces. Grease the inside of a heavy brown paper bag. Place bag in roasting pan. Salt and pepper chicken. Dip in sauce. Place in bag. Pour the rest of the sauce over the chicken. Fold the end of the bag over twice and secure with paper clips.
COOK 15 MINUTES @ 500*.
Lower oven temp to 350* and cook additional 1 hr. 15 minutes.
DO NOT OPEN BAG UNTIL COOKING TIME IS COMPLETED.
