What can you do on glute ham raises?

Just bought a gh machine as an addition and went to try it out and
And can't do even do a rep. Can only do a 1/2 negative. Anyone start
this weak on this machine? Just curious what are some numbers
You guys can do this satanic machine?

I can bust out a few reps no assistance but this machine is the ultimate posterior chain exercise. Maybe try positioning the machine in front of a squat rack, wrapping an exercise band around the rack and around your chest so that it gives you assistance.

Use something like a broom stick to hold onto to assist with the negative until you don't need it. I'll see if I can find a video.
