About 2-3 days ago i started reciving a message with google chrome when coming to ProM.
Mallware Detected...proceed at own risk error...
I have to click on that everytime I open a thread.
Is there a real problem or just a glich from changing something on the site?
Anyone know how to fix it?

There is a couple of threads on this already. Many of us are getting it, Firefox and Google use certain software through another company that detects this. I don't know if it is real, but according to them during there testing they have been attacked from something on this site.

I wish Big A or somebody would come on and tell us what is going on and fix the problem if there is one. I think a few of our members are now scared to even log on here.

I didnt log for a few days... untill I risked it becouse of it..

It's not a glitch, 2 of us so far have had our debit/credit card information compromised. Mine was only ~15days old at the time (just issued) and I have not gone on porn sites / downloaded torrents / etc.

This is the only site that has any suspicious activity, and another user reported his information was compromised as well.

Be careful bros. Run your anti-malware programs etc. At least my bank caught it and stopped it, someone else might not be so lucky.

there's another bodybuilding/steroid site that I got a Trojan on and had to reformat my hard drive. I use explorer and haven't seen anything here. yet.

I don't see how they could have stolen your credit card info from just logging on here. Do you have the info stored on your computer somewhere, or maybe you ordered something online during the same session you logged on here? Im thinking the cause of your theft is for some other reason. Unless this new alert you guys are getting is different than mine, this has been on here since I made my thread and that's about 2 months or more and ive had no problems.

Right now Im running the full version of Malwarebytes and Mccaffe together. What were you running when you had the theft occur? From what im seeing the danger lies on that web address that my Malwarebytes is blocking.

This is from the thread I started, discovered this a day ago or so:

"ust searched Bing and found out what the address is for, here is what Bing says:

"
brutal anadrol - Rank Lite - Find Website hosting information ...
brutal anadrol Cached
IP Address: 190.97.162.55. Buy the finest steroid powders available from an ISO-Regulated and Licensed Factory. ... Website Url: race-dezert.com ..."

That is the we address that Malwarebytes is blocking on my PC. Maybe your pc didn't block it?

This is something new to what you reported a couple months ago. Firefox and Google are blocking this site because of some type of Malware. You have to click on a special link to bypass the block.

Im thinking that those search engines just discovered what I found months ago? It probably takes several months of people reporting the issue for the search engine people to add it to the alerts? Maybe I better run another set of scans later today. My 2 protection programs haven't detected anything new. Do you get the alert I am talking about?

I don't use google but here is the page that comes up when you click the link on there about how it may damage your computer:
https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/45449?rd=1

Here is when you try to come here:
**broken link removed**

Bing reports nothing on it.

Yes, that second link is one of the ones I am getting.

It just started up on my end. The third party can exploit a security flaw in vbulletin or anything and proceed to inject malware onto the users device without their knowledge. That is essentially what is happening as I make purchases on my work computer which is 100% secure from sketchy website, torrents, etc. I'm assuming whatever it is installs a key logger, and when you go make an online purchase they retrieve it from whatever retailer on their end. I had my information stolen and that would make a first in my life.

This isn't the only forum that's been doing this over the past few weeks. Clearly this isn't the fault of PM but a vbulletin flaw if anything. Clearly an exploit has been found within the forums

Hum, so the problem I found is something entirely different then. Perhaps best to just stay off the board for awhile then. Going to do a complete scan in a few minutes.

It's nothing. Since it's a forum, if anyone (usually a spammer) puts a link to a malware website in any post, anywhere on the site, when the Google spiders crawl the site, they attach a security warning about the site. It just takes me a little while to find that post.
This has been happening forever, just that most of you have no idea about it.

Everything else you guys are talking about are just conspiracy theories.

I can only get on using my iPhone. I can't get on at all with any of my other computers and I have four. Plus my girls phone. What's going on?
