I saw this on the local news yesterday. That was pretty impressive! Apparently cats can be pretty darn loyal. I don't think that dog knew what hit it!!

In the story that Big Danny linked, it said the boy was fine...For the most part yes, but his leg sustained some damage. Also, the neighbors who own the dog surrendered it to animal control who said the dog would be euthanized. The neighbors admitted that the dog didn't like children or bicycles...Incredible...Good thing they kept it on a leash!

IMO the owners of the dog need to be arrested or have some kind of punishment, they knew the dog didn't like kids or bikes and yet didn't secure the dog properly? smdh. Cat is badass... but I wonder how bad things would have gotten had that cat not did what it did. Yeh the kid is fine as in alive, but he did get damage to his leg.

The dog gets put down, but the owners that obviously didnt give a shit enough for the dog, to train him properly, will get a slap on the wrist in comparison. I love how an animal that clearly was raised incorrectly loses his life, but the ones that caused the damage get off with a few fines, and a couple of hospital bills. But thats the world we live in, we fuck up these animals, but they pay the price!!!! Im not saying what the dog did was right, but if hes owners did their job as responsible pet owners, this would have never happened!
