But they chose not to brand it Classic/Classical Bodybuilding because the term "bodybuilding" has a negative connotation to it. Negative?!? But the slut-faced bathing suit boys, and bikini girls with 6month gym memberships have these opportunities BECAUSE of bodybuilding? Dont these shows exist because of bodybuilding? Atleast give it the credit/respect it deserves. AND....put all the beach sluts on a different damn day! smfh
Rant over!
I actually like the idea of the new division.....just not the politics behind the bullshit.
Notice the NPC will be selling the required trunks, more money, that's all this is of course...also check the weights, at 5'8" I can't weigh over 170, seriously? That's smaller than physique guys are now, 170?
Thank god they're going to give them spandex posing trunks and not the god awful board shorts. Now I just need to lose 30-40 lbs.
Not sure I have that much fat mass, but who knows.
Glad to hear they don't want the classic bodybuilding look to be a thing of the past, but it's unfortunate they felt the need to call the division "classic physique." Understandably so as the word "bodybuilding" is immediately associated with drug use and the average person actually believes "physique" guys are natural, but can they make it any more obvious they're trying to push the physique agenda and phase out bodybuilding?

I like the idea a lot, but the fact that i would have to drop to 192 at my height is kinda dumb.. Smaller than light heavies for 5ft 9.5in? Ehhh.. 205 would be more realistic IMO
