Hey guys,
So my current doc ended up going full-time with a student health clinic, meaning I no longer have access to her. She was kind enough to monitor me and keep the judgements at minimum, provided that I listened to her advice if my numbers were starting to creep out of normal ranges.
Could any of y'all recommend a doctor in Austin or Houston who treated you in the same manner? It took me a LONG time to find a doctor who wasn't into continually lecturing me because of the paranoia the DEA drilled into them. One doctor was convinced I had sleep apnea because I am very muscular. At 15% body fat. *sigh* (FYI, sleep apnea is only caused by a very high amount of visceral abdominal fat that pushes against the lungs, which is why men tend to develop it more often than women. My stomach is flat.) Turned out it was my goddamn anxiety disorder that was keeping me up, not sleep apnea. (And if you're looking at the time of this post, I work nights occasionally like tonight, haha.)
I appreciate y'all's recommendations.
I also appreciate whoever told me about Dr. Flores for treatment of my elbow's bone spur. The operation went great, although he sent me home with Tylenol 3... Not nearly strong enough to help me with BONE DRILLING pain. Heh.
