I am a powerlifter who was prepping for a show. I was 5 weeks out and by far the leanest and grainiest I have ever been when I pulled the plug on prep for a few reasons that really amount to not loving bodybuilding the way I do powerlifting.
Anyway, I had started 4iu Norditropin post workout 2 weeks before stopping prep. I stopped dieting 2.5 weeks ago and switched my training back to powerlifting/powerbuilding based and introduced a huge influx of clean calories. About 1500-1750 plus one treat a day such as a bowl of ice cream or some cookies. I also switched by GH dosing to 2iu after waking up and 2iu pre-workout.
Since then I have put on 32lbs in just under 3 weeks. Yes, I know not healthy. I have checked my BP multiple times and it has only gotten up to 127/66 when I baseline with a systolic in the 110-115 range. I do have some +1 bilateral ankle edema though.
Obviously this is a shit ton of water. Not sure how much of it is diet rebound and how much is GH. I wasn't holding any noticeable water when dosing the GH post workout so I think a lot of it is rebound.
Any thoughts? The CTS and low back pumps are insane. In fact I have total body pumps 24/7 lol. Strength is climbing back up lightening fast but it isn't the most comfortable thing. I know I should have reverse dieted some. Lesson learned.
Ride it out and let my body adjust and it will go away after the rebound? How much of this is GH related? I know it is legit Norditropin. First time using it though. Back down to 2iu and work back to 4 slowly? Not overly salting my food, cardio 4-5 times a week in the mornings still for 25 minutes and water intake has stayed 1-1.5 gallons a day.
