I have been looking at the Thumper percussion massagers and was wondering if anyone has used them? On paper they look like a good way to do some self deep tissue massage but I don't know how deep they would really go for a bodybuilder.
The thumper mini pro 2 looks decent or is it a
Waste of money?

My girl got me one a couple of months ago.. Me personally, I like it. I don't know if it's breaking up scar tissue in my thighs or not, but it does help relax me, that's why I got it. My girl helps me with it a few times a week, I think she just likes telling me how to lay down and pushing it hard against my muscles to make me grunt as I think she chuckles when she does it... but it helps to relax me and I personally feel good with it.

No worries mate.. anatomy gangsta got you covered:)

Thera is more established brand and tim tam is newer so its bit cheaper then thera but both do same sort of job.

Any UK recommendations from a physiotherapist? You don't need to use the American term physical therapist for me lol
Something I can use on myself preferably as my Mrs is not always agreeable to helping out

Thumpers are great. Use them on 90% of my patients. It really helps relax hyper-tonic muscles before adjusting. Haven't had a patient who doesn't like it.

Someone once said getting a car buffer/waxer and only using the edge of the pad against your body worked very well.

I have one and have always liked it. I've had it pinch my skin sometimes if I applied too much pressure so be careful.

Thanks think I'm going to get one on Black Friday

I know this thread is older but I have percussion massager like the thumper and it's ok, just very hard to pin point small areas and it is hard on the limbs ergonomically.
I am going to get a theragun g3pro

:yeahthat: thera gun , best option!

Ive got a tim tam. It works. Ill most likely invest in a thera. My chiro has one and they're pretty amazing.

I think thera even offers payment options?

Just get a Worx Axis Jigsaw and a ball attachment from eBay to make your own for under 100$.
I used to sell these if anyone wants one cheap.
