So a couple days ago i started having problems breathing at night. Checked into the ER and after some test i was told my ejection fraction was 10%.

What are the keys to recovery?

Sorry to hear that bud. We've got several members who have had heart issues and improved ejection fraction. I expect them to chime in.

Good news is with some lifestyle modification and medication/supplements, you can almost always get your EF numbers up.

Your predicament is a fear many of us have. Do you care to share your usage patterns over the years? GH and AAS or just AAS? ON most of year or cycle off? Blast/cruise? Dosages? Family history. Alcohol? You may be able to help many with your experience.

Good luck. You will get better from this low point.

Sorry to hear that mate. The answer depends on your specific heart pathology. Follow your doctors instructions for now until your condition has stabilized. Then you can look at complementary treatment approaches.

Please search all my posts on EF (there are many) and in general and buy everything that helps. Ubiquinol, Curcumin, Ribose, curcumin, pycnogenol, Telmisartan, etc. Follow an extremely strict diet and do some cardio. Don’t wait, do it immediately.

fuck.

drop all aas… drop all excessive eating (I would go straight to low calorie IF on vegan diet)

some cardio, and the support supplements that NH and Dante have talked about in the past. maybe some lisinopril

im sure Maldorf will be a good resource as well.

Yo..... They were worried for me and my was 35.....

The good news is I got mine back into range within 2-4 weeks and above normal in 8 weeks

You make an excellent point as for this type of condition a plant based diet would probably do wonders. On here it's often just supplements and not doing aas that are mentioned. But the key work with vegan diet is inflammation or lack of. Heart failure and inflammation are strongly interconnected. So by following a vegan or even vegetarian diet with the right supplements (nothuman listed the best) and cardio it could do wonders. OP just don't become the typical vegan were you have to change the world :p Obviously you don't have to go vegan but a restricted diet with plenty of nutrients and some animal protein would still work great.

First cycle 25 iirc 300 test, 300eq 30 dbol 5weeks

In 20 years I've done less than 15 cycles. Most were 12 weeks. And only one exceeded 1g of test. Did low dose test and gh 2iu once.

Only Drink on the weekends, hardly ever during the week.. No family history of alcohol, no hard drugs, dad has high bp, older brother had high bp but got it under control with diet and exercise. My bp fluctuates, can usually get it to drop with some cardio and diet

Doesn't sound like heavy AAS/gh abuse. May just be a combination of genetics and elevated BP over time. Enlarged heart runs in my family so I pay attention to posts like yours. Keep us posted and stay positive. You'll get your numbers up it doesn't sound like you're a hardcore user.

Latest update.. Had an issues on Sat morning while getting an MRI.. Lungs filled with so much fluid, breathing became very difficult. Cardiologist say my heart is so bad that if i did everything right, I'd have a 25% chance of making it a year. Says a transplants is a must

how old are you if i may ask?
its bizare your ef is so low although your dosages are very conservative and you have stated no family history of heart issues.
Anything else you are taking (recreational drugs sth like that..?)

I agree. It seems strange. You think this is only from the the AAS cycles you've done?

45 yrs old, smoked weed for breif periods 3-4 weeks, then nothing for years sometimes. X twice 20 yrs ago. No coke, crack, meth. Older brother and father have high blood pressure, brother got off the meds with diet and exercise. Mom passed several years ago from Alzheimer's.

Doctors are confused because I've been doing construction fo the last year. Doc said with such a low EF number i should've been showing signs

Anything is possible, Doc said it's possible for an infection to damage the heart, had a URI a couple weeks prior

were you sick sometime between last year and now?
maybe myocarditis?
you should def have symptoms even @ 25-35%. thats why i am confused that it went that fast if you say you did hard work last year.
did the MRI show any signs of myocaridits? any scar tissue?
did you take anything else besides what you mentioned? Special medication or something like that.
how was your stress level the last few months? anything to mention?
10% is very low and you should have felt it creeping up to you.

Best wishes for you man. Obviously listen to your doctors, but you also have a lot of guys on here who unfortunately but thankfully have experience with this stuff. I'm sure I speak for many in saying I'll keep you in my thoughts and we're all pulling for you!

Best of luck. Drop all AAS immediately. With underground gear, much of the test is actually overdosed since it's the cheapest raw. It's also added to other compounds. So many people are taking far more test than they realize.

What, you think he's smuggling his gear into the hospital and shoots himself up to make them gains? Of course he's not taking anything right now.

Which is not ideal either. Talk to your doctors about your AAS use and let them prescribe you some low dose TRT. You certainly don't want to crash your hormonal system when your health is already this compromised. True TRT doses are safe for the heart and certainly healthier than having no androgens and estrogens in your system.

Couldn't do the MRI, having a bad reaction.. No special meds, ran gw5156 for a while, ra n eca a few times.. Wss in hospital for back spasm back in April. EKG didn't show anything. Doc saying there's no way i could've done construction work in the Florida Heat for the last year without showing any symptoms

Edit also run low dose cialis for prostate issues

Something definitely doesn't add up. No family hx, An average of less than 12 weeks on conservative doses of gear a year, no recs, asymptomatic until sudden dyspnea...I think something is being omitted or underestimated. Perhaps there was some denial as subtle symptoms began to occur? You didnt go from healthy to an EF of 10 overnight or because of a URI...

I would do whatever the cardiologists and transplant team say. That and only that.

This is why I have started getting my general practitioner to refer me to a cardiologist who does a full cardio checkup every single year. And I mean full testing. I don't want this stuff sneaking up on me.
