Weird Estrogen Issues - Anyone ever have this happen?

I’ve always been fairly insensitive to estrogen and, for the past 4-5 years, I’ve run between 200 and 1500mg and never needed an AI even with higher E2 numbers. Actually always felt better without one and even small doses of AI would give me problems.

However, the past ~6 months or so I started having dick issues (sex drive still high but poor erections). Played with doses and finally brought in an AI which fixed the dick problems. The only problem is that my sex drive is lower now, sometimes significantly so, with the adex added in and I get a very emotionless/detached feeling the day after AI dosing which is consistent with how I’ve felt taking them before.

Currently taking ~800mg test per week (400mg 2x per week with 0.25mg adex 2x per week on pin days).



TLDR
Before: high sex drive, feel good, no dick issues, never needed an AI

Last ~6 months: high sex drive, feel good, dick didn’t work

Now: lower sex drive, feel off sometimes, dick works well, need an AI

Are you able to do blood work and check Estradiol levels?

Have done that already but they have never had any noticeable effect for me (tried probably a dozen different kinds in the last 5 years including some picked up directly from oversees pharmacies in person).

Been on 800mg per week for probably 8 weeks or so. I’ll probably continue on that for the foreseeable future as it took me a while to nail this one down.

I could do blood work but I don’t think it would tell me much since I’ve always felt best with high Test and E2 (never had issues with E2 in the 200-350 range) but my body’s ‘preferred’ levels has obviously changed. Just not exactly sure how

It's possible that high E2 levels drove your sex-drive / emotional state way up. Did you also notice if you were cuddly and/or emotional (crying easily at a commercial or sad movie?)

It is possible now that you have managed your levels into a normal range, your crazy sexy drive has been dampened and you are still comparing it relative to your past hormone profile?

I was never emotional or exhibiting sides of high E2 unless I got over about 1500mg in which case I’d need to add an AI. Felt good, good mood, etc. definitely a stark contrast to the emotionless/detached feeling I get the day after dosing an AI now

I appreciate the input so far btw guys - I know there probably isn’t an exact answer here but just wanted to hear if anyone had similar experiences since it’s been a frustrating half a year or so
