Red krill oil VS Fish oil

I've been taking red kril oil for a while now , I got sick ass hell from some fish oil caps I got from Sam's so I swapped to these

I can't say if they are better by way of health benefits but they sure as hell beat fishoil by way of after taste

Both are good for you and heart healthy it's all a matter or personal preference

I take 4g of fish oil per day and 3g of krill oil per day... I have heard that krill oil is better anti-inflammatory/anti-oxidant...

Krill have very short lifespans and therefore do not have time to accumulate as many toxins in their tissue as fish do. End result: cleaner oil.

I had a bunch of pubmed articles saved somewhere but krill is better than fishoil.

With lower dosages you can get better results but the problem is that fish oil is WAAAY cheaper than krill so at the moment would it be truly worth it to take it? That question can only be answered by how thick your wallet is.

I prefer red kril oil. Can't say its better than fish oil, but it works better for my body.

The benefit from taking either is the Omega 3 in each. The Krill Oil doesn't have much Omega 3 when compared to triple strength fish oils.

You can buy fish oil with 1000mg of Omega 3 per capsule. The Krill Oil I've seen has only a fraction of that per capsule.

The only studies that have been done on Krill were based on the companies that produced it. WIth that in mind stick with Omega 3 fish oil.

google stuff like krill oil vs. fishoil pubmed...then a lot of stuff should come up. I google stuff and at the end I type pubmed and it pulls pubmed studies and is easier than doing the search in pubmed's search function

This is not an either or issue take them both for max benefits

Krill is pretty over-hyped...

They claim its 50 or so times better absorption than fish oil.. but that's in water.. not your body, so it's not an accurate claim... same as creatine hcl having better absorption than mono.. sure in a glass of water.. but doesn't matter once in your body..

just look for high epa/dha..

the antioxidant claims from krill come from the astaxanathin they add in..

also krill is NOT sustainable like they claim.. better to use fish oil for the environment..

Krill is a phospholipid as opposed to regular fish oil which is just lipid.
The idea is our bodies cells are phospholipid bi-layers so they are more receptive to other phospholipids like krill and will be absorbed aprox~30% better hence lower dosage and smaller pills.
Honestly I still do regular fish oil.

Krill

I know mega red krill oil only contains 90mg omega3. I don't care how well it absorbs, that amount just isn't high enough
