Mix one cup peanut butter and one third cup honey (darker the better) and nuke for ninty seconds, then mix in one and one quater of whey protein and mix, then add one cup of old fashion quaker oats and mix, make into dough ball and flatten down in nine by nine glass pan, then put in fridge for twenty mins. Cut into two inch squares and you will always have something to carry with you to supplied protein and slow digesting carb with natural sugar and fats.

I will look for some healthier recipe's and post up. I've made some low sugar ones in the past, but can't recall the recipe at the moment....

you dont even need the honey!

bowl: oats, whey, Natty PB with some almond milk and mix it up.

If your mix is too "wet" let dry after spreading it out on a cookie sheet in the fridge!

THEY ARE GOOD! For long hikes we add dried fruit, any kind of nuts, crack..whatever...lol

I actually made these for the first time thanks to this recipe. I do a lot of business travel and we all know that airports typically sell shit for food.
Nice to keep in the briefcase to help curb appetite until I get to my destination.
They're cheap and you know what's in 'em. Didn't use any Splenda in mine and they're fine.

Here's one I borrowed from another site...pic and all!!!

Ingredients:

3 Scoops Chocolate Whey Protein. I say use Dymatize Choc/P Butter protein instead, cause anything by Dymatize sho is good!!
1/4 c Cups Oats
1/2 Package Sugar Free Chocolate Fudge Pudding
3/4 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Serving (28 nuts) Cocoa Roasted Almonds
1 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
I say add in some PB2 as well!!! :)

Directions:

1. Crush almonds into bite size pieces using a food processor
2. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl
3. Pour the mixture into a greased cooking tray and spread evenly
4. Refrigerate overnight, cut into 8 equal bars and EAT!!!

Nice recipe Miss Q I actually have one almost the same only I add nutella instead of jello pudding and cocoa, very nice though

Going to make my second batch today! Traveling tomorrow (so, I'll have them for the road). They came out great last time and much cheaper than buying them in the store.
 
Just made some the other day, thanks for the recipe. How do you keep the bar from melting if you keep in the fridge all day? I didn't nook mine just mixed it in a bowl and put it in the fridge.
