Homemade protein powder.

Does anybody make their own protein powder?. Weather it be from milk products or using whole grain foods.

Homemade Protein Powder

1/4 cup soy (Mira) powder
1/4 cup whey powder
1/4 cup almond powder
1/4 pea protein
1/2 cup egg protein
1/8 cup plain Knox gelatin powder
1/4 cup rice protein powder
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1/8 cup lecithin granules
1/2 cup raw honey
1 cup instant oatmeal
2 pints of water

I just buy bulk pure proteins from sprouts. Recently I got it at 1.99 LB.

Its good quality at a good price! I love sprouts.
If you find one of their advertisement papers with a good price for protein, grab a ton of them. You can use expired sprouts ads to redeem for price listed at anytime. I have like 50 ads stating 1.99 protein!

How much protien (in grams) does this come out to? How does it taste and what do you mix it with? Do you make shakes? jus use water/milk?

protein powder is one of the cheapest forms of protein available. Where I live the $ per 100 grams of protein is MUCH more for milk compared to protein powder. I suppose to get a better deal you'll have to live close to a plant that sells cow's milk then buy several 100 to a couple 1,000 gallons and evaporate off the water yourself but considering the effort involved it's better just to buy the powder.

I recommend a good recipes for all bro.

Peanut Butter protein Shake:

2 cups skim milk
2 packets (46 grams) of dry non fat milk powder
2 tablespoon of natural peanut butter
1 tablespoon honey
Nutritional Facts: 610 Calories, 16 g. Fat, 33 g. protein

This protein shake is great if you're interested in replacing a supplemental weight-gainer.
