What's your favorite way to prepare ground turkey? I tend to eat it fairly plain with a little salt and pepper, garlic, and diced tomatoes over brown rice. I'm looking for ways to change this up a bit.

I like to make burgers with various spices and eat them with Ezekiel bread. I do put some ketchup and other stuff though that's not too healthy, but not a ton of stuff. I like to cook a bunch of mushrooms and onions and put them on top of it too. So yummy.

A good topping for it is a greek yogurt dip. Puree tarragon, dill, parsley, and cilantro (all fresh) in a blender w some walnuts, fresh garlic, and a little bit of olive oil and salt and pepper. Mix the puree with a thing of plain greek yogurt...its so good you'll love it.

Plain for me. It's moist enough to eat like this. It is good with bbq sauce as well. Brown rice... ughh

I just brown up 3 lbs and drain then add some taco seasoning and I have it either with WHITE rice, or in tortillas.

I brown up 3 lbs and add capers, cumin, onion, garlic, green onion and a little grand marsala and mix it with broccoli or have it with rice

I eat it fairly plain too. It tastes fine without anything unlike chicken for me. I typically just use various combinations of hot sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, bbq seasoning, and mozzarella cheese.

I just cooked 2.5lbs in a pan like I would ground meat, and I then added 1 packet of spicy low sodium taco sauce, the stuff that comes as a powder! Slamming

Try this, you'll be hooked!

I get Mount Olive roasted red peppers in oil, put those at the bottom of the plate and dice them with my fork and put the turkey patties on top, that's like nothing else and very addicting! The peppers are expensive though, cost about as much as the pound pack of turkey...

Do you just place the cooked patty on top of the peppers? Sounds delicious

yes and it sorta steams the peppers a little, then I break it up with a fork, it's hard to describe, but like eating a deep dish pizza... Just has a very addicting flavor, you'll see... Sometimes I pour red habanero sauce on top of it, but my heartburn hasn't been tolerating that, besides, they're great just like that without the sauce...

i prefer to make patties out of it with some garlic salt, ketchup and mustard. pretty plain id say.

Taco meat style with a lot of veggies. I'll brown it, seasoned with Pappy's seasoning, cumin, oregano, maybe some garlic salt.

Then I'll chop up green and red bell peppers really fine, like through the food processor. Also an onion, and some fresh cilantro and green onions. I toss all these in and stir for a while after the meat is browned. Sometimes I'll chop up a fresh jalapeno in it, if the kids aren't eating it. The flavor is incredible and it kinda hides veggies in there so the kids don't pick the veggies out.

I make taco salad out of it, cook up about two pounds of it, season it with taco seasoning, then cut up some tomatoes and lettuce, add in kidney beans shredded cheese and Doritos (crush them up a bit) add in however much turkey you want and top it off with western dressing, not the cleanest meal but very good, you can also make it with plain ground turkey, tastes just as good

these meals sound good. I usually just add taco season and call it a day, think I'll start adding in a few whole eggs to add even more protein and fats to it during a bulk
