Low sodium soy sauce 1/2 cup
Saki 1/4 cup
Mirin(sweet saki)
zest of one orange
juice of one orange
2 tpsb sugar or 3 tbsp dark brown sugar.
wisk all this together in a sauce pan over medium low heat until it reduces by 1/4, itll get nice and thick. i use it as a glase on salmon, chicken, grilled veggies. you can discount the sugar and salt content if you use it properly....with a basting brush as a thin glase on anything your grilling, itll add a ton of flavor without adding any real amount of empty calories.
