There are some garbage cereals out there

but theer are some good ones that have lots of protein and good amount of complex carbs, whole grain wheat and stuff.

so do you eat cereal, what brand ?
 
Garbage cereal postworkout with protein shake......as far as the "healthy" kind if your refering to kashi, not all its cracked up to be IMO.
 
Post Maple Pecan. Great stuff. Better for you than most, but only 4 grams of protein, so I eat the whole box.
 
Why would you be looking to get your protein out of wheat or soy?

I really like all the new cheerios. Banana and peanut butter are pretty good.

I love cereal but the wheat and gluten kill my stomach so I make my own gluten free granola. Really easy and tastes awesome
 
It's easy as hell and comes out amazing.

Get some:
gluten free oats
Almond/peanut butter
Raw honey

2tbsp of peanut butter and honey in mixing bowl. Microwave for 20 sec then mix it together.
Add 1 cup gluten free oats
Mix all together
Empty onto baking paper on baking tray spread it all out evenly
Set oven to 325
Cook for 10-20min
Keep checking it until it goes bit brown

Take it out and let cool and it's crunchy as hell. Feel free to add fruit/nuts at this point.

Try it you won't believe how easy it is

I used to get high protein cereal at the store but I havn't seen it around in a few months, it had 12-16g of protein per serving depending on the flavor. I would mix it in a big tupperware container with almonds, granola, chia seeds and sometimes an additional fiber cereal.

Then take a cup of milk and mix in a scoop of protein powder and pour over the cereal/almond/granola/chia mix in the bowl. Delicious and pretty healthy, used to be part of my pre-workout ritual.

Thank you for this recipe, it's easy and tastes great. I did add cinnamon for some extra flavor though.
