i am thinking about buying some lamb and was wondering if anyone has any recipes. i have never cooked lamb before but wanting to try it.

my girlfriends family is from peru, i love love love the lamb that her mom makes she makes a stew with it.

i would love some ways to cook it.

Lamb

I have the butcher prepare the leg. He takes the bone out and wraps it with a little fat on top. Stick some garlic in it, sprinkle with all spice, onions, celery and carrots in pan. 350 degrees for around 2 hours, you either have to weigh it or use the meat thermometer (150). When there is 45 minutes left throw some whole sweet potato in the tray. If you have a convection oven it will cook faster. Let sit for 20 minutes before carving. Delicious, loaded with protein...
