So, many of you guys know my story, or I figure you do
January 23, 2006 was a day that changed my life forever.
On this day, I ventured into the wrong home and was shot point blank with a 12gauge. Professional baseball career was over, thought I might lose my leg IF I was able to survive. Well, that was the last night I touched alcohol and haven't looked back since. These last 9 years have been the best of my life. I met my beautiful wife, I have 2 AWESOME KIDS and own my own business. I've made friends with some guys on this site who are just great people!

I never got shot, but I was pretty crazy (addiction problems). Turned my life around also. Keep telling your story Richie bc its inspiring and will help someone who is at the low point.

Alcohol is a bitch bro, I've been there to a certain level....almost lost my marriage because of it. Quitting was the best thing I did! I only drink occasionally, very minor now. Took me close to 2 years before i touched it again after quitting.
